Bike to Work Day, May 19.

This annual event is an opportunity to enjoy the many benefits of two-wheel transportation. Even if you don’t work downtown, it’s nice to ride with friends to the City Market East Plaza to hear dignitaries extol the virtues of bicyclists and celebrate how far Indy has come as a bike-friendly city. Light refreshments will be served from 7 a.m. – 9 a.m.

Bike-friendly Midtown hosts three starting points for bike trains. (Groups of cyclists riding together.) NOTE: not every bike train has a return trip leader so be prepared.
