The City of Indianapolis Department of Public Works and Indy Parks are accepting live Christmas trees through Thursday, January 31. The Midtown drop-off location is Broad Ripple park, 1610 Broad Ripple Avenue. Trees must be free of ornaments, tinsel, tree stands and all other decorative materials so they can easily be recycled into sustainable landscaping resources, such as mulch and soil blends. Trees can be dropped off in the park from dawn to dusk. Just look for the pile.
