The City of Indianapolis has announced projects for the second phase of the Circle City Forward initiative that will invest $25 million in residential streets throughout Marion County. Funds were allocated using a formula developed by Indianapolis Department of Public Works (DPW) and City-County Council leadership. The goal was to see that funds were distributed equitably around the metro area. According to Hannah Scott, public information officer at DPW, Midtown projects could bid as early as February for construction to begin in the spring or summer of 2022. She said DPW expects the majority of the segments included in this investment to be completed by the end of 2022.
