Help Turn the Broad Ripple RiverWalk from a Dream into Reality

UPDATED 9/27/21.  For thirty years, the Broad Ripple community has advocated and planned for a paved trail to connect the Monon Trail with Broad Ripple Park. After receiving a Neighborhood Infrastructure Partnership Grant from DPW in 2018, the BRVA and RiverWalk Task Force began reaching out to local donors to raise half of the matching funds needed for this project.

Construction of the trail is estimated to cost approximately $1.1 million dollars. Thanks to community support, $485,000 has been raised. That leaves $65,000 left to collect to reach the full amount due October 31. Since the public campaign was launched in August, $15,000 has been donated. That leaves only $50,000 left to raise by the October 31 deadline.

To help bridge the gap, an anonymous donor has agreed to match every donation up to $25,000. All donations, from $10 to larger amounts, are greatly appreciated and will help  bring the RiverWalk Trail to Broad Ripple. Visit the BRVA’s RiverWalk web page to learn more about the project and to make your donation.
