Fischer Homes will build this year’s Centerpiece Home—a fully constructed, decorated, and landscaped home built entirely inside Expo Hall, showing the latest trends in architecture, decor, and gardening. Interior designer Joy Perkins from TOB Design Firm and Christine Robbins of the Fischer Homes team will showcase a variety of options for customizing home interiors. Landscaping for the Centerpiece Home is by Calvin Landscape.

Featured speakers include the Indianapolis-based mother-and-daughter home rehabilitation team Karen E. Laine and Mina Starsiak Hawk, hosts of HGTV’s Good Bones and Two Chicks and a Hammer. Jason Cameron, host of DIY Network’s Desperate Landscapes, Man Caves, and Sledgehammer, will offer his insights on home improvement and landscaping.

Due to the increasing popularity of smaller homes, this year’s event offers even more tiny treasures to explore. Five tiny homes will be featured in the West Pavilion throughout the 10-day Home Show to show how to enjoy simpler living in a smaller, more efficient space. Each home in the tiny village will have its own dedicated landscaping with the latest in gardening trends. Feature gardens can also be found in the West Pavilion. The area’s top landscape professionals are adding their green touch to the Unilock Corner Beer Garden and Outdoor Living Stage areas, too, which are located in the South Pavilion.

To save $2 on admission, buy advance tickets online. All active and retired military, police, and fire personnel get free admission on opening day, Friday, Jan. 19, plus free parking at the Fairgrounds. Just bring a valid ID. More info here.
