The Indianapolis Public Library has cancelled all in-branch children’s programming until further notice due to the ongoing surge of COVID-19 cases among children.
The cancellation, effective Sept. 20, affects storytime and toddler and preschool programming. Although children age 12 and over can be vaccinated, there is not yet an approved vaccine dosage for younger children.
The Library is not canceling teen or adult in-branch programming, although face masks are required.
Parents of younger children may find options at the Library’s Online Programs for Kids or its e-Books and Streaming resources.
