Three Midtown structures are included in a new statewide database of architecturally significant buildings. The Indiana Architectural Foundation’s list of 50 includes Hinkle Fieldhouse, Newfields/IMA and the former St. Vincent Hospital that has been retrofitted to serve Ivy Tech Community College. “Our goal is to showcase Indiana’s architectural history,” said Dan Brueggert, president of Indiana Architectural Foundation. “We hope people will not only want to learn about it, but also visit the public buildings to see just what makes them so special.”
