Two Midtown nonprofits recently announced new hires.
Shelly Snider is the new executive director at Indy Pride which serves Central Indiana’s LGBTQ+ community. The organization holds leadership development trainings, educational programs, and promotes community events that aim to generate inclusivity, equality, strong community connections, and awareness of LGBTQ+ issues. A past Indy Pride board member, Snider most recently worked for at the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at IUPUI as the assistant director of career services. During her tenure at IUPUI, she chaired the LGBTQ+ Faculty Staff Council.

The board of directors of the Broad Ripple Village Association recently announced the hiring of a new executive director, Jordan Dillon. Most recently she served as vice president of marketing at Sahm’s Hospitality Group and previously worked at the The PLAlD Agency and spent many years at USA Gymnastics. Jordan will work out of the BRVA office at 818 Broad Ripple Avenue. Visitor office hours are Tuesdays 1-4 p.m. and Thursdays 9 a.m. – noon.
