Veritas Remains in the Village

Veritas Realty, a full-service commercial real estate company, has acquired a 6,400-square-foot building at 6440 Westfield Blvd., which it will remodel for its new headquarters. According to Jamison Downs, a managing principal, the firm was committed to staying in the Broad Ripple area. “You are seeing this across the globe—businesses are capitalizing on locating in a culture that attracts creative people and inspires growth,” he said. “The ‘live, work, play’ environment of Broad Ripple promotes a healthy and energetic workplace.” The site was most recently home to an American Legion post. Previously it was the Fireside North restaurant.

Kyle Hughes, another managing principal of Veritas, said that ample parking and proximity to the Monon Trail were important to the firm: “This prime location along the Monon Trail and the excess commercial land affords Veritas the opportunity to consider multiple options regarding future development of the overall parcel.” He said Veritas anticipates that the building renovation will commence in early 2016 and will be completed by fall.
